So start small and you'll know when it's time to move up to a more powerful editor. Some new editors jump right into high end editing software, only to get so frustrated they just give up. While the programs will continue to run on systems where Windows Essentials is already installed, it's unlikely you'll be able to reinstall the programs if you are having issues.
